For optimal performance in the laboratory, PET plastic vials provide a combination of features previously unavailable in a counting vial. Safe disposal is accomplished by incineration. No harmful gas is generated; only CO2 and H2O are created. Lightweight, virtually unbreakable plastic has the clarity of glass. PET vials also offer low permeability to solvents and minimal background count.
