Exact-Temp thermometers are designed to monitor the critical temperature in freezers. Each one is mounted in a square shaped shatter proof plastic bottle filled with Bio-Safe 50% ethylene glycol to ensure accurate readings despite the opening and closing of the instrument doors. The thermometers have engraved stems and are thoroughly annealed for lasting accuracy. Each one has its own unique serial number and has been tested against a standard calibrated at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). A certificate of accuracy is supplied with the thermometer making its indications traceable to NIST. Space Saving Magnets are supplied which can be adhered to the bottle allowing the thermometer to be attached to a steel wall or door.
