The Deep-Well Swing-Bucket Rotor, which is similar to a microplate rotor, has been developed to accommodate the ever-growing demand for taller deep-well blocks or multi-well assemblies. Examples are popular 96-well format nucleic acid isolation kits and filtration devices with heights greater than 45mm. In addition, this rotor has been tailored for use with the new Eppendorf® Perfectprep® Plasmid 96 Spin Kits. The membrane plate and deep-well block can be "sandwiched" to fit perfectly in the rotor. This rotor is fairly unique since most microplate rotors on the market can only accommodate microplates or one block due to height restrictions. This rotor provides quick separations with a maximum speed of 3,600 rpm and 1900 x g.
