• Extraction of carotenoids, fat-soluble vitamins, aflatoxins in food matrices
• Extraction of fatty acids and phospholipids

Thermo Scientific HyperSep Florisil Cartridges are ideal for the isolation of polar compounds from nonpolar matrices. Extremely polar in nature, HyperSep Florisil SPE Cartridges are especially well-suited for extraction of chlorinated pesticides. The magnesia-loaded silica gel offers rapid flow rates for large sample volumes.Typical applications include:

• Extraction of pesticides using official methods
• Extraction of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) in transformer oil
