Economy Units
These Gravity Convection Ovens
(N138-1/1E, -2/2E, -3/3E, -4/4E) are ideal for processing powders and other products that may be disturbed by forced air. These units are available in sizes ranging from 1 cu.ft. to 6 cu.ft. The economy ovens feature a gravity convection design for efficient heating. The double wall insulation and the low watt density heater keeps temperatures uniform and keep your energy consumption down. Gravity convection units are preferable for applications with lightweight samples (powders, lightweight films and granular materials) because they do not have an internal fan that will blow these samples around within the chamber.
- Three-inch Adjustable Port
- Stainless Steel Shelves Adjustable on 1/2" Increments
- Independent Hydraulic Overtemperature Safety
- High Temperature Silicone Door Seal
- No Exposed Heating Elements
- Wraparound Insulation for Excellent Heat Retention
- Durable Powder Coat Paint Exterior Finish
- Thermometer Supplied
- 24-Month Limited Warranty
Non-Economy Units
These units
(N138-5/5E and N138-6/6E) feature a triple wall construction and easy to read microprocessor controls. Adjust the air exhaust from the chamber without putting your fingers near the heat source. Even at temperatures of 225°C the outer skin of this unit meets all CE requirements, meaning your application will stay hot but your workspace will not. These gravity convection ovens provide a degree of uniformity comparable to most forced air ovens on the market. The 99 minute 59 hour digital timer has an independent control so its use is optional. Once the timer expires the power is cut to only the heating elements.
