Plates, Cell Culture, Multiwell Plate, 384-well, Clear Polystyrene Microplates, Corning®
Corning 384-well Clear Polystyrene Microplates
- Total well volume of 112µL
- Working well volume of 20µL – 80µL
- Cell culture microplates are sterile and nonpyrogenic
- Ideal for reducing protein and nucleic acid binding at low concentrations, and increasing assay signal to noise
- Nonreversable lids with condensation rings to reduce contamination
- Individual alphanumeric codes for well identification
Nonbinding (NBS) surface is a Corning proprietary treatment technology used on polystyrene microplates to create a nonionic hydrophilic surface (polyethylene oxide-like) that minimizes molecular interactions. High binding surface binds medium (>10kD) and large biomolecules that possess ionic groups and/or hydrophobic regions. Not treated (or medium binding) polystyrene surface is hydrophobic in nature and binds biomolecules through passive interactions; therefore, is suitable primarily for the immobilization of large molecules, such as antibodies, that have large hydrophobic regions that can interact with the surface. Poly-D-lysine coated for enhanced cell attachment is Aseptically Manufactured.
