These coolers provide low temperature capabilities for non-refrigerated circulators and baths, for circulators requiring additional cooling capacity, and for replacing dry ice or liquid nitrogen. All models in this series are designed to run at maximum cooling rate. Temperature control should be provided by an external circulator.
By immersing the probe in a circulator bath, or connecting a Flow-Through model to a circulator, low temperatures can be achieved. Immersion coolers are excellent for trapping and dewar type applications, and can reduce the expense of using dry ice or liquid nitrogen. A flexible hose on these models allows convenient placement of the cooling probe.
Flow-Through models must be used in-line with a circulator pump. Because of the high cooling efficiency of the flow-through heat exchanger, and anti-freeze solution is required in the circulating system.
